Ce que fait cet outil
Il suit au jour le jour les feature flags et experiments que ChatGPT active côté client, archive chaque état, et publie une synthèse hebdomadaire des nouveautés. C'est une veille produit continue sur ce qu'OpenAI teste avant déploiement : un flag apparaît en général plusieurs jours ou semaines avant l'annonce publique de la fonctionnalité, quand elle sort.
D'où viennent les données
De la page publique chatgpt.com elle-même. À chaque chargement, ChatGPT embarque dans le HTML un payload Statsig (feature_gates, dynamic_configs, layer_configs) qui pilote l'exposition des fonctionnalités. On lit ce payload public, sans compte ni accès privilégié. La brique d'origine est une extension maison qui interceptait ce payload dans le navigateur ; le collecteur actuel n'a plus besoin de navigateur du tout.
Ce que l'on sait lire, et ce qui reste opaque
L'état courant compte environ 577 gates, 159 configs et 205 layers. Les gates sont des identifiants hachés : on voit qu'une expérience existe et si elle est active, mais pas son intitulé. Les dynamic configs et les layers exposent en revanche des valeurs lisibles (paramètres, labels, prompts, listes d'identifiants) : c'est là que se trouve la matière interprétable. Le socle de flags est identique pour tous les utilisateurs ; s'y ajoute une petite couche ciblée par compte ou par segment, que l'on traite comme du bruit.
Limites de lecture : une nouveauté est la première apparition d'un identifiant ; une disparition n'est qu'un signal de retrait probable ; les gates nus restent opaques faute de nom. Rien ici ne prouve qu'une fonctionnalité sortira, ni quand.
